Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a CMYK PDF at 300dpi with 3mm bleed on every edge and fonts outlined or embedded. Keep text and logos at least 3mm inside the trim line. For double-sided cards, send a two-page PDF with the front on page one and the reverse on page two. Blank templates are in the Templates section on this page.

What size are standard business cards in the UK?

85 × 55mm. It fits wallets and card holders, and it's the size these cards are printed at.

Which stock should I choose?

350gsm Silk is the balanced choice: smooth, bright and sturdy. 450gsm Silk is noticeably thicker and feels more premium in the hand. 300gsm Premium Smooth White is uncoated-feeling and easy to write on, and 350gsm Recycled Uncoated has a natural, textured look.

Which lamination is best: matt, gloss or soft-touch?

Matt is understated and reduces glare. Gloss makes colour and photography punchier. Soft-touch has a velvety feel people notice straight away. All three add protection against scuffs; no lamination keeps the stock's natural surface.

Can I order cards for several people at once?

Yes. Set "Sets" to the number of different designs, up to five, and the quantity to how many you want of each.

How long do business cards take?

Choose Saver (4 working days), Standard (2) or Express (1) when you order. That is production time and doesn't include delivery.

Do I need my artwork ready to order?

No. Choose "Send It Later" when you order and we'll give you a link after checkout. Production starts once your artwork has been checked and approved.

Can Printlogik design my cards?

Yes. If you don't have artwork, or yours needs tidying up, our studio can set up your file or create the design from scratch. Ask for a design quote and we'll price it before you commit.
