NCR pads are for paperwork written on the spot: order forms, invoices and delivery notes, with a carbonless copy kept each time. Every pad holds 50 sets, glue-bound so the top set tears off cleanly, with a loose writing shield to stop your writing pressing through to the sets below. Choose 2, 3 or 4 part sets in A4, A5, A6 or DL, and pick the colour of each copy sheet. You can order a single pad. A real person checks your artwork before anything is printed.

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a CMYK PDF at 300dpi with 3mm bleed and a 20mm safe zone. The safe zone is wider than usual because the pads are glue-bound, so keep key content well clear of the bound edge. If you are printing double-sided, set the reverse in 70% black rather than solid black, which stops it showing through to the copies beneath. Pads can be glued on the long or the short edge, so tell us which suits your layout.

Frequently asked questions

How do NCR pads work?
NCR means "no carbon required". The sheets are coated so that writing on the top sheet transfers to the sheets below through pressure alone. Tear off the finished set along the glued edge, slot the writing shield under the next one and carry on.
What is the writing shield for?
It is a loose card you place under the set you are writing on, so your pen pressure doesn't carry through and mark the sets beneath.
What is the difference between 2, 3 and 4 part?
The number of sheets in each set. 2 part gives you a top sheet and one copy, 3 part gives two copies and 4 part gives three.
Can I choose the colours of the copy sheets?
Blue, green, pink, white or yellow. You choose the colour of the second copy, the third copy and the bottom copy when you order, so it is clear which sheet goes to the customer and which you keep.
How is this different from NCR Sets?
The paper and part options are the same. Pads collect 50 sets into a glue-bound pad with a writing shield, which is easier to carry and use on the move. NCR Sets are supplied as individual loose sets.
How long do they take?
Choose Saver (10 working days), Standard (8) or Express (7) when you order. That is production time and doesn't include delivery.
