When it is cold, this mug is plain black. Pour in a hot drink and your full-colour design appears within seconds, then hides again as the mug cools. How does the colour change work?

The mug has a heat-reactive coating that is black when cold and turns transparent when warm, showing the design printed underneath. As the mug cools, the design hides again.

Why should I avoid white in my design?

White text and logos do not stand out against the reveal effect, so they can look faint or disappear. We'll point out any white elements when we check your artwork.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. These mugs are handwash only, because dishwashers degrade the heat-reactive coating.
