A fin flag has a tall, rounded top edge that curves back down to the pole, like a shark's fin. Because it doesn't taper to a point, it gives you the most upright area for a logo or a stacked message. Choose from four sizes, standing 2560mm to 5140mm, facing right or left, or double-sided in the three smaller sizes. Bases are sold separately to suit the flag size and the ground. A real person checks your artwork before anything is printed.

Use the template for your size and supply a CMYK PDF with fonts outlined, keeping key content clear of the sleeve edge. The single-sided templates put the pole and base on the left of the front face as standard; for the pole on the right, flip the template shapes horizontally, not your design, or ask us to set it up. Frequently asked questions

How is a fin flag different from a blade or crest flag?

The shape. A fin flag has a tall rounded top that curves back to the pole, which gives the most upright message area. A blade flag has a straight upright edge, and a crest flag curves gently from top to bottom. All three come in the same four sizes with the same fabric and side options.

What sizes are available?

Small stands 2560mm tall with a 500 × 1900mm graphic. Medium is 3150mm with 600 × 2600mm, Large is 4080mm with 785 × 3400mm, and Extra Large is 5140mm with 850 × 3900mm.

Can I have it double-sided?

Yes, in Small, Medium and Large. A double-sided flag is two printed layers with a blockout membrane between them, stitched as one, so the design reads correctly from both sides. It is heavier, and bases are not covered by warranty when used with a double-sided flag, so ask us about the most secure fixing for your location. Extra Large and AirMesh flags are single-sided only.

Is a base included?

No. Bases are ordered separately so you can match one to the flag size and the ground it stands on. They are listed under Flag Accessories. Tell us where the flag is going and we'll recommend one.

Can fin flags be used outdoors, and how do I care for one?

Yes, indoors and out. Dismantle in winds above Beaufort Scale 4 (13–18mph), keep the flag clear of anything the fabric could snag on, and don't set poles too close together. Machine wash at 30° with no detergent and dry fully before storing.
