A tall, straight-edged flag for busy frontages

A blade flag has a straight, upright edge and a slim vertical profile, which gives it a tidier, more formal look than a curved flag. Choose from four sizes, from 2560mm to 5140mm tall, facing right or left, or double-sided in the three smaller sizes. The flag is dye-sublimation printed on knitted polyester and flies from collapsible aluminium and GRP poles that go together without tools. Bases are sold separately so you can match one to the ground. A real person checks your artwork before anything is printed.

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Use the template for your size and orientation: right-facing flags have the pole and base on the left of the graphic, and left-facing flags reverse it. Supply a CMYK PDF (AI or EPS also accepted) at 150–300dpi at final size, with vector logos and type and fonts outlined or embedded, keeping key content clear of the sleeve areas. Frequently asked questions

How is a blade flag different from a crest or fin flag?
The shape. A blade flag has a straight, formal upright edge. A crest flag curves gently from top to bottom, and a fin flag has a tall rounded top that curves back down to the pole. All three come in the same four sizes with the same fabric and side options.
What sizes are available?
Four: Small (2560mm tall), Medium (3150mm), Large (4080mm) and Extra Large (5140mm).
What is the difference between right-facing and left-facing?
Right-facing flags have the pole and base on the left-hand side of the graphic; left-facing flags reverse this. Each has its own template.
Can I have it double-sided?
Yes, in Small, Medium and Large. A double-sided flag is two printed layers with a blockout membrane between them, stitched as one, so the design reads correctly from both sides. It is heavier, and bases are not covered by warranty when used with a double-sided flag, so ask us about the most secure fixing for your location. Extra Large and AirMesh flags are single-sided only.
Is a base included?
No. Bases are ordered separately so you can match one to the flag size and the ground it stands on. They are listed under Flag Accessories. Tell us where the flag is going and we'll recommend one.
Can blade flags be used outdoors, and how do I care for one?
Yes. They are stable in winds up to Beaufort Scale 4 (13–18mph); dismantle in anything stronger. Machine wash the graphic at 40°C with everyday detergent, let it dry fully before storing, and keep it clear of anything the fabric could snag or rub against.
