A menu gets picked up, passed round and wiped down more than almost anything else you print. These are printed on 250gsm or 350gsm stock, laminated on both sides in gloss or matt, and creased so the fold stays clean instead of cracking. They arrive flat, so they store neatly and you fold them as you need them. A real person checks your artwork before anything is printed.

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a two-page, double-sided CMYK PDF at 300dpi with 3mm bleed all round and fonts outlined or embedded. Page order matters: for an A4 creased to A5, page one carries the back cover and front cover side by side (panels 4 and 1), and page two carries the inside spread (panels 2 and 3). For landscape creases, keep the front cover the right way up with the back cover rotated 180° on the same page, and rotate the inside pages 180° on page two. Frequently asked questions

What is a creased menu?

A menu on heavy stock that has been creased, or pressed along the fold line, before it reaches you. Heavy paper folded without a crease cracks along the spine and flakes the print.

Why are the menus supplied flat?

Flat menus store compactly and stay tidy until you need them. You fold along the crease in seconds, rather than keeping stacks of folded menus that lose their shape.

Are the menus laminated?

Yes, on both sides. Choose gloss to make food photography brighter, or matt for a quieter, non-shiny look.

What sizes and layouts can I order?

A3, A4 or A5 sheets, with a single crease, a gate crease, or roll and Z creases to six panels. The Folding menu lists each layout with its finished size.

How do I set up artwork for a creased menu?

As a two-page, double-sided PDF with the panels in printing order. For an A4 creased to A5, page one shows panels 4 and 1, the back and front covers, and page two shows panels 2 and 3, the inside spread. If it is confusing, send us what you have and we'll arrange it.

How long do they take?

Choose Saver (8 working days), Standard (5) or Express (3) when you order. That is production time and doesn't include delivery.
