Frequently asked questions

What is SoFlat material?
SoFlat is a 400gsm grey-backed display material with true lay-flat properties and a matte anti-glare, anti-scuff finish. It's UV printed in full colour and designed for graphics that need to stay flat, resist scratches and look good under any lighting.
What does grey-backed mean?
The reverse of the material is grey rather than white, which blocks light from showing through the graphic. That matters for backlit venues and free-standing displays, where show-through washes out colours and reveals the frame behind.
What is SoFlat best used for?
Roller banners, free-standing display systems and hanging displays — anywhere a graphic gets rolled, retracted or re-used. Its lay-flat properties stop edge curl, and the anti-scuff finish handles repeated setup. It's suitable for indoor use only.
Does SoFlat reflect light?
Minimally. The matte anti-glare finish means very little light reflects off the face of the graphic, so it stays readable under exhibition lighting, shop spotlights and camera flash.
What's the largest size available?
Up to 2.2m wide, printed and trimmed to your exact requirements. A standard trimmed finish is included in the price.
What file format do I need?
A print-ready PDF in CMYK with fonts outlined or embedded works best. Every order gets a free artwork check by a real person, so if anything about your file needs attention we'll tell you before printing.
